Theodore W. “Big Red” Ritchey III

Age 66, of East Sparta, OH passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 5, 2018 in Aultman Hospital. He was born October 10, 1951 in Canton to the late Theodore W. Jr. and Freda F. (LaFallette) Ritchey. Ted was a graduate of Canton Lincoln High School and retired from The Timken Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of the United Single Solution Group at Simpson United Methodist Church. Ted was an avid bowler, fisherman and enjoyed working on his Chevy Bel Air. He is preceded in death by one sister, Judy Morris; one brother, Gary Ritchey. Ted is survived by two sisters, Wanda Gremminger and Karen Ritchey; one brother, Larry Ritchey; seven nephews, three nieces and several great-nephews and great-nieces. Funeral services will be Thursday August 9, 2018 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery.
