Thelma E. Wells, age 56, of East Sparta, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 in her home following an extended illness. She was born August 10, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV., to the late Roy and Maxine (Harris) Freshour Jr. She was an East Sparta area resident since 1978 and was a 1967 graduate of Canton South High School. Member of North Industry Christian Church. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Rick Freshour. She is survived by her husband, Hatzel C. Wells to whom she was married 37 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Kimberly Wells of Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Don Walter of Canton; five grandchildren, Victoria, Brittni, Allysa, Gregory and Jordane; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Freshour of East Sparta, Norman and Lora Freshour of Sandyville, Nelson and Kelly Freshour of Canton, Kevin Freshour of Clarksburg, WV.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Deb Cutlip of Canton, Lisa and John Swigert of Clarksburg, WV. Friends may call Thursday 7-9pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. There are no other services scheduled.
