Thelma M. Palmer
Age 94, of Canton, a loving mother and grandmother died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Manor Care following a brief illness. Born February 29, 1916 in Canton to the late Lloyd and Hazel (Dieffenbaugher) Strang. She was a life resident of the Canton area and retired from Gibbs Manufacturing in 1987 after 35 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Palmer; one brother, Leroy Strang; one sister, Adella Seefong. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Rick Miller of East Sparta; two grandsons and spouses, Christopher M. and Tina Vogt of Carrollton, Logan and Kenzie Miller of Florida; one great grandson, Christopher M. Vogt II of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews; special niece, Shirley Rohrer of Canton. Memorial services will be Friday, October 22, 2010 at 6:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Diana Thompson officiating. Inurnment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
