Thelma L. Nelisher, age 85, of Canton died in her home on Wednesday, March 14, 2007. Born January 2, 1922 in Massillon, OH. to the late Ben P. and Bernice (Harter) Allen. She was a life resident of Canton and a 1940 graduate of McKinley High School. Member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Nelisher; two brothers and one sister. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William and Sue Hall of Canton South; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Dennis Shirer of Canton South; four grandchildren and their spouses, Michele and Mike Pedone, Nicole and Brian Wilkinson, Kurt Hall, Paul Shirer; four great grandchildren, Allyson, Olivia and Ryan Pedone, Caitlyn Wilkinson; one brother and sister-in-law, William F. and Shirley Allen of Canton. A private graveside service will be in North Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Paul Rudy officiating. There will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Aultman Hospice Program, 2821 Woodlawn N.W., Canton, OH. 44708.
