Thelma V. Cox
Age 75, of Canton, passed away Sunday December 16, 2012 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born September 2, 1937 in West Alexander, PA to the late William and Myrtle (Fitzgerald) Grimm. Thelma was a Canton area resident since 1955 and was formerly employed by Aultman Hospital for 7 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Norman Dale Cox Jr.; one brother, William Grimm; one sister, Vivian King. She is survived by her husband, Norman Dale Cox Sr. to whom she was married 58 years; six children and their spouses, Debbie and Joe Scarpino of Canton, Sandra and Fred Perrenoud of East Sparta, Brenda Holub of Canton, Linda and John Norris of East Sparta, Delores and Kenny Shaver of Mechanicstown, Norman Dean Cox of Canton; 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Bert Grimm of West Alexander, PA. Funeral services will be Thursday December 20, 2012 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Thomas officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
