Thelma M. Bauman
Age 87, of Magnolia, passed away Friday December 12, 2014 in Altercare of Navarre. She was born October 7, 1927 in Canton to the late George and Loretta (DeJeet') Wilson. Thelma was a life resident of the Stark County area and a 1945 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Canton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray H. Bauman in 2006; one sister, Marie Parks. She is survived by nine children, Frances Haney (Bill Burrow Sr.) of Mineral City, Norma Bauman (Bob Cohen) of Akron, Mary (Scott) Daniels of Massillon, Julie (Nick) Bauman-Breach of Oconomowoc, WI, Vivien (Larry) Thouvenin of Alliance, Nancy Reischman of Mineral City, Paula (Dale) Schillig of Louisville, Raymond (Mary) Bauman of Massillon and David Bauman of Carrollton; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vivien Duckworth of Canton. A mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday December 16, 2014 at 10:00am in St. Peter Catholic Church, Canton with Fr. Edward L. Beneleit as celebrant. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery.
