Terry A. Toulson

Terry A. Toulson passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2024. Son of the late Ernest E. Jr & Ellennore Toulson. Terry was a 1966 graduate of Canton South High School. After graduation, he honorably served in the US Army from 1968 – 1970. 

Terry spent a combined 37 years in law enforcement, retiring from the Stark County Sheriff’s Department where in 1995, he was awarded Deputy of the Year. Terry later worked for the Detective Bureau at the Jackson Township Police Department.

Survived by his wife of 54 years and his high school sweetheart, Darlene Ann Crum, his daughters Tami (JP) Neff, Terra (Jason) Good and his grandchildren: Anthony Glen (Devan) Richardson, Abigail Lucille Richardson, Ella Jean and Axel Terry Good, Ava Grace Neff and great grandson Jason James Richardson. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Waggoner. 

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law LTC Jason Good, and his beloved dog, Ali. 

In his free time, Terry enjoyed playing poker, hunting, fishing, golfing, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his grandchildren.

Terry’s family would like to thank Dr. Tony Haeufgloeckner and his team at Aultman North Canton Medical - Canton South, for their unwavering support over the years.

A private graveside ceremony will be held, with military honors, at Melscheimer Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave S. Canton, Ohio 44707. Friends and family may share condolences and memories.
