Terry “Bear” K. Steiner
Age 73. Terry passed away suddenly on March 30, 2022. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Jessie Eileen “Millie” and Theodore “Ted” Steiner on March 18, 1949. He is preceded in death by his precious great granddaughter, Quinn Tisevich, brother-in-law, Bill Milner, and long-time friends, Bucky & Jack.
Terry was a 1967 graduate from Canton South High School. He went on to marry and start a family with his high school sweetheart, Patricia “Patty” Andreini (Gero) and to work for the Timken Company where he would later retire after 34 years.
Terry was an avid classic car guy. For the past 26+ years he had enjoyed many car shows with friends and his wife, Lin. Traveling to Mississippi for Cruisin’ the Coast, Woodward, and many more. He also enjoyed watching his granddaughters play softball, volleyball, and basketball and his grandson play baseball. All of which he was very proud of.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda “Lin” Steiner; Bonnie (Mom) Dover; sister, Bonnie “Bunny” Steiner; brother, Theodore “Skip” Steiner, and brother, Larry H. (Janice) Steiner; children, son, Scott Steiner, daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Fyffe, and daughter, Candace (Seth) Williams; grandchildren, Justin (Tara) Tisevich, Eric Steiner, Sharon (Deontae) Williams, Sydnee Fyffe, and Nicholas Fyffe; also many, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude in memory of Terry or Akron Children's Hospital in memory of Quinn Tisevich. Calling hours will be held at Kreighbaum-Sanders in Canton, OH on Sunday, April 3rd from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow.
