Terry Alan Ballas, age 67, passed away on March 19, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1957 to Richard Lee and Kathleen Iris (McKinney) Ballas. Terry attended Canton South High School as well as McKinley where he had graduated from.
He was a union steward for many years, Terry worked with his mother, father, and brother at Danner Press for over 26 years.
He enjoyed watching the news, loved Michigan Sports and a lively political debate with friends, family and anyone willing to debate. Terry founded SWIFT, a community revitalization project in his neighborhood.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 26 years Hope Ballas; daughter, Tara (Nathaniel) Stone; brother, Rick Ballas; granddaughter, Ariel and great-niece, Gwenyth Leann.
He was preceded in death by his parents and niece Shannon Ballas.
