Susan A. Kintz
Susan A. Kintz, passed away July 18, 2008, 13 days prior to her 95th birthday following a brief illness at the Canton Christian Home. Sue retired from the Canton Local School District. She was born August 1, 1913 in York, PA, to the late John and Irene (Szokei) Shandor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chalmers Kintz in 1994; one son, Darrell Kintz in 1948. Susan is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sharon Kintz of Canton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and William Wood of Louisville, Corrine and Wesley Rogers of Uniontown; four grandchildren, Craig and Tiffany Kintz, Grant and Megan Rogers; four great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at the Canton Christian Home for their wonderful and personal care given to Sue during her stay. A graveside service will be Monday July 21, 2008 at 11:00am in Melscheimer Cemetery with Gene Carter officiating. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
