Steven N. Tack

Age 72, of East Sparta, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Aultman Hospital. Born December 23, 1950 as Christmas carols filled the halls of the maternity ward, hence the middle name, “Nicholas”. Steven graduated from East Canton High Schools in 1969 and entered the U.S. Army, where he also was in a band named, “Haze” while over in Germany. He retired from the Timken Company with 30 years of service and was also formerly employed by U.S. Ceramic and Goodwill Industries. Steven loved music, movies, mushroom/ arrowhead hunting and Chinese food. Preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Geneva (Roberts) Tack. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Funk) Tack; four children, Jon (Melissa) Tack, Jeremy Tack, Jenny (Mathew) Milhoan, Mauna (Gerry) Maddock; eight grandchildren; a brother, Greg Tack; a sister, Aleta Johnston. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 1:30 pm in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
