Steve Wilson
Age 63, of Canton died Friday, November 21, 2014 in Brewster Park following an extended illness. Born July 1, 1951 in Athens, TN. to the late Robert C. and Mildred R. (Wood) Wilson. He was a Canton resident most of his life and retired from Ohio Bell in 1994 with 25 years of service. Steve was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. He was a former assistant varsity and head junior varsity coach for Canton South High School girls' softball. Preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vicki C. (Turner) Wilson; one daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Dave Andrews of Canton, one son and daughter-in-law, Kristopher and Carrie Wilson of Brewster; three grandchildren, Gracie Andrews, Drake and Preslie Wilson; one brother-in-law, Duane Hughes of Ooltewah, TN. Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Northwest Church of Christ, 3904 38th Street NW., Canton, OH. 44718, with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Friends may call Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10-11 am at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Northwest Church of Christ.
