Stephen Vitavec
Age 54, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 9, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. He was born August 26, 1960 in Canton to the late Edwin and Lucy (Amendola) Vitavec. Steve was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1978 graduate of Timken High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was awarded an American Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters. Steve was employed by Canton City Schools and Mr. Mike's Catering. He was a faithful member of All Nations Tabernacle. Steve is survived by his wife, Theresa M. (Green) Vitavec; one daughter, Tonya Raider of Canton; three grandchildren who were the apple of his eye, Allen, Linzee and Raven Garnes; two sisters, Rosemary Vitavec of Nevada and Paula (Steve) Healy of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday May 15, 2015 at 11:00am in the All Nations Tabernacle at 3054 - 17th St. SW, Canton, OH 44706 with Pastor Scott Kerr officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
