Shirley A. Wilson
Age 77, of Canton, passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 in Rose Lane Health Center. She was born May 11, 1936 in Wheeling, WV to the late Edward C. and Jeanette (Jewell) Schmalstieg. Shirley was a Canton area resident most of her life and was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Wilson in 2013 and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Pamela and Dave Warrick of Canton, Sherry Wilson of Canton; step-daughter, Dina Maurer of N. Canton; six grandchildren, John (Elise) Heaton, Kimberly (Shane) Liebi, Tristan (William) Essex, Heidi Heaton, Jordan Rickus and Ian Maurer; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Saturday March 1, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Rev. L. Scott Bacon officiating. Entombment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour before services on Saturday (12-1pm). Memorial donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas, Stark and Carroll County at 716 Commercial Ave., New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
