Shirley A. Rice, age 69, of East Canton died in her home on Thursday, March 24, 2005. Born in Canton on Feb. 23, 1936 to the late Theodore Sr. and Virginia F. (Thomas) Rice. She was a life resident of the East Canton area and a 1953 graduate of East Canton High School. Employed by the Bowman Company. Survived by one brother, Theodore D. Rice of Ravenna; one niece, Michelle Hardman of Alliance; two nephews, Daniel Rice of Alliance, Randall Rice of Ravenna; four great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday, March 28, 2005 at 1:00pm in the chapel at Sunset Hills Burial Park with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the East Canton Church of God @ 201 E. Nassau St., East Canton, OH. 44730 or America Diabetes Assoc. @ P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA. 22038-1131.
