Sheldon H. Egglston, age 84, passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of the morning of April 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A lifetime resident of Canton, he was born on November 4, 1940. Sheldon was a 1959 Graduate of Canton South High School.
Sheldon was a proud truck driver, and an avid Magnolia drag racer. He will be remembered for his love of Westerns, the oldies, and most of all, his family.
Sheldon is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Leona (Reese) Eggleston; son, Harry Eggleston; and brother, Lonnie Decker.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 21 years, Bonnie Eggleston; children, Craig Eggleston, Carl (Angie) Eggleston, and Michele Eggleston; step-children, Robin Eekhof, Renn Beal, Renee (Jerry) Richardson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per Sheldon’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
