Scott R. Deremer
Age 58, of East Canton, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 20, 2016 in the Cleveland Clinic. He was born July 21, 1958 in Canton to Maurice R. and Ruth Rosaline (Fidler) Deremer. Scott was a 1976 graduate of Canton South High School. He was employed by RB’s Truck and Trailer Services and was formerly employed by Schneider Lumber for 28 years. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and a member of the former Canton South Sportsman’s Club. His favorite pastimes were Sprint Car racing, golfing and he truly enjoyed announcing for the East Canton Midget Football programs for many years. Scott was a very hard working man, would help anyone in need and always had a nickname for all. He is preceded in death by his father, Maurice “Red” Deremer, one half-brother, Tim Deremer. Scott is survived by his wife, Connie A. (Poulos) Deremer; four children, Coriandra “Cori-kid” Deremer, Bryant “Spankey” Marnin, Melissa “Darla” Marnin, Stephanie “Tweety” Marnin; his mother, Rosie Deremer; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Rhonda Deremer; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Ronald Braucher; one nephew, Marshall “Squirrel” Braucher; four nieces, Abbey “Abbica” and Samantha “Sammy” Deremer, Hailey “H-Pup” and Merrideth “Minnie” Braucher. Funeral services will be Saturday September 24, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Andrew Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
