Sarah Jane Francis Weaver
Age 71, of East Canton, passed away Sunday August 26, 2012 in her home following an extended illness. She was born March 19, 1941 in Creekside, PA to the late Allen and Minnie (Adamson) Hopkins. Sarah Jane was a Canton area resident most of her life and a member of Deerfield Friends Church where she was active with the Women's Bible study. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Francis; two grandchildren, Chester Manuel Francis III, Ronald B. McMasters. She is survived by her husband, Bruce C. Weaver Sr. to whom she was married 23 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Reattia and Ronald McMasters of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chester Manuel and Kathy Francis Jr. of Long Bottom, OH, Lewis B. and Dawn Francis of East Canton; eight step-children, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Patsy Hopkins of Louisville. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 29, 2012 at 11:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Re. Jody Hill officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
