Sarah K. Tamper
Age 92, ended her earthly journey on Friday December 18, 2015 in Katy, Texas. She was born April 7, 1923 in Carroll County, OH to the late Ralph D. and Flo Ina (Gamble) Manfull. Sarah was a resident of Texas since 1999 prior to which she had resided in Canton. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Canton. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #44 and 37th Division of the Ladies Auxiliary; DAV and the Elks #467 of Alliance. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Tamper in 2004; one daughter, Ruth Katherine Tamper; five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sister, Pearl Briceland; one son, Ralph Tamper of Houston, TX; two daughters, Shirley Cain of Canton and Jeanne Hostetter of Sugarland, TX; five grandchildren, Kathy, Kim, J.D., Victoria and Traci; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren . A private family committal service was conducted Wednesday December 23, 2015 in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Lance Lindenberger officiating. There were no public services.
