Sarah E. Gobeli
Age 94, of Louisville passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born May 23, 1922 in Justus,Ohio to the late Chester and Gertrude (Cash) Van Fossen. She was an East Canton resident most of her life and a member of East Canton Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Gobeli in 2011; a son-in-law, Bill Schumann; one great grandson, Leif William Mick; one great-great grandson, Baron Thomas Petry; nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by four children and spouses, Dee Schumann of East Canton, Roger and Donna Gobeli of Louisville, Joy and Tom Bender of Canton, Penny and Ron Carpenter of Canton; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in the East Canton Church of God, 201 E. Nassau St., East Canton, OH. 44730, with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to East Canton Church of God.
