Sandra L. Oberly
Age 71, of East Canton, passed away Thursday September 24, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born October 10, 1943 in Canton to the late Gerald W. and Catherine M. (Krall) Cable. Sandra was a life resident of East Canton and a 1961 graduate of East Canton High School. She was raised in the Indian Run Christian Church and attended the East Canton Church of God. Sandra was employed by Stark County Internal Medicine. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James P. Cable. Sandra is survived by her husband, Gerald F. Oberly to whom she was married 52 years; two daughters, Rhonda and Gary Fleischman of East Sparta, Dr. Julie Oberly of East Canton; twin grandchildren, Zachary and Rachel Fleischman. Funeral services will be Monday September 28, 2015 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Mark Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
