Samuel "Sam" Sankovich
Age 80, of Canton, passed away Wednesday January 14, 2015. He was born February 25, 1934 in Cleveland, OH to the late Walter and Anna (Ondruko) Sankovich. Sam was a former member of North Industry Christian Church and retired from Canton Drop Forge after 47 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella Nora (Fales) in 2010; three brothers, Michael, Nick and George Sankovich; two sisters, Amelia Mulligan and Dorothy Johnson. Sam is survived by two daughters, Chris Sankovich Elliott of Holland, OH and Sharron K. Sankovich of Bedford, OH; one granddaughter, Erin (Josh) Heid of Canton; one sister, Mary (Jack) Kutz of Canton; two brothers, Walter Jr. (Norma) Sankovich and Jerry (Joann) Sankovich all of Canton. Services will be Monday January 19, 2015 at 1:00pm in the chapel at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home.
