Ruth E. Watson
Age 81, of Canton, passed away Tuesday July 12, 2011 in the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness. She was born September 22, 1929 in Noble County, OH to the late Harry and Dorothy (McPeek) Stotts. Ruth was a Canton area resident for the past 60 years. She was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ and was formerly active with the Stepping Stones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Gene Watson in 1998; one grandson, Curtis Watson; one brother, Monty K. Stotts. Ruth is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Betty Watson of Canton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda Watson of Canton, Dana and Bob Hennen of Morgantown, WV; four grandchildren, Monica (Ryan) Morton, Devin Watson, Paige and Morgan Hennen; three great-grandchildren, Alyvia, Cameron and Luke; one sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Denver Moore of Massillon; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Keith and Joan Stotts of Parkersburg, WV, Neal Stotts on Van Nuys, CA. Funeral services will be Saturday July 16, 2011 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ruth's memory, may be made to the Ohio Valley University at 1 Campus View Dr, Vienna, WV 26105-8000.
