Ruth E. Rogers
Age 88, of Canton died Friday, November 26, 2010 in Hennis Care Center, Bolivar following an extended illness. Born March 21, 1922 in Cambridge, OH. to the late Lawrence Clifford and Leona Mae (Warden) Graham. She was a Canton area resident most of her life. Ruth was a member of Canton Baptist Temple where she was involved with the Jolly Sixties, Sharing and Caring Cupboard, Sunday School Teacher for Beginners I Department for 20 years and Vacation Bible School. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rogers in 1997 to whom she was married to for 55 years; one brother, Lawrence Graham. Survived by four children and spouses, Anita and Scott Ferguson of Tucson, AZ, James R. Rogers of Canton, Denise and Scott Himes of Bolivar, Janice and James Mitchell of Canton; five grandchildren, James Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Matthew Rogers, Jason Mitchell, Dana Himes; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Graham, Patty Rose, Donna Fulton. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. David Harmon officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10-11 am.
