Ruth Eller
Age 89, of Canton, passed away Thursday May 12, 2011 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 4, 1921 in Plum Orchard, Georgia to the late Frank and Emma (Nicholson) Rogers. Ruth was a Canton resident for more than 60 years and was a member of Canton Pentecostal Temple where she was active with the ladies ministries. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marlvin Eller in 1977; two brothers, Hubert and Horace Rogers; one sister, Ree Eller. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, George and Kathleen Eller of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters and sons-in-law, E. Marlene and Troy Bannister of Canton, N. Darlene and Charles Gibson of Dunkirk, OH; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Esta Addis of Georgia, Gertrude Smith of Georgia and Irene Eller of Virginia. Funeral services will be Monday May 16, 2011 at 11:00am in the Canton Pentecostal Temple with Rev. Ed Horn and Dr. Linda Hines officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 3-5pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services on Monday at the church (10-11am).
