Ruth E. Dourm
Age 97, of East Canton, passed away Saturday April 25, 2015 in Oak Hill Manor Care Center. She was born March 1, 1918 in Harrisburg, OH to the late Ervin C. and Emma (Seaburg) Burns. Ruth was a 1938 graduate of Louisville High School and an East Canton resident most of her life. She was a member of AARP, Christ Memorial Church, Robertsville and the former Senior Friends group. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Duane R. Dourm Sr in 2004; one son, Duane R. Dourm Jr. in 2013. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Donna Dourm of Minerva; daughter-in-law, Betty Dourm of Minerva; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Oak Hill Manor and Great Lakes Hospice for their compassion and care throughout the last stages of Ruth's journey. A private family funeral service will be conducted in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with interment in Liberty Cemetery, Minerva.
