Ruth L. Bush
Age 95, of Canton, passed away Friday February 17, 2012 in the Canton Christian Home. She was born December 1, 1916 in Hartville, OH to the late Melvin and Esther (Royer) Steffy. Ruth was a life resident of the Stark County area and a member of the First Christian Church, Canton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Bush in 1980; two grandsons, Paul Bush and Greg Rose; one sister, Florence Steffy. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Donald Freday of Canton, Betty and Richard Rose of Cincinnati; one son and daughter-in-law, John "Jack" and Reata Bush of Florence, AL; six granddaughters and fifteen great-grandchildren to whom she was known as Mimi; one brother, David Steffy of Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be Monday February 20, 2012 at 1:30pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Ronald Iwanusa officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday (12:30-1:30pm). Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.
