Ruth Darlene Buckle
Age 79, passed from her earthly home on February 14, 2017. She was born July 7, 1937 in Vandergrift, PA. Living her childhood in North Industry, then in East Sparta for over 50 years. Ruth graduated from Canton South High School in 1955. She was a mother who raised two sons and enjoyed being a homemaker. Ruth loved her church and church family. She faithfully led the singing for years and was always ready to read poems and stories to the congregation of Howenstine Christian Church. Preceded in death by parents, Oscar S. Barto and C. Marie Barto Bayer. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald L. Buckle; two sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Mercedes Buckle, James Buckle; two grandsons, Cody and Jonathan Buckle; two brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Carolyn Barto, Lee Barto; one sister, Shirley (Barto) Green; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb 18, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday from 5 – 8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Howenstine Christian Church or a charity of your choice.
