Ruth K. Brewer
Age 95, of Canton, passed away Friday April 4, 2014 in Laurels of Canton. Ruth was born in Kanawha, WV, September 11, 1918 to the late George William & Nancy E. (Jarrett) Keaton. Ruth was a Canton resident most of her life retiring from The Timken Company after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple where she was active with the Forever Young Group. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Brewer. She is survived by good friends, Vern & Fern Stewart of Canton, and Sharon Perrine of East Sparta. Funeral Services will be Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 11:00am in the Canton Baptist Temple, at 515 Whipple Ave NW, Canton 44708 with Delaney Young and Neal Wheeler officiating. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour before the service on Tuesday at the church (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canton Baptist Temple.
