Ruth A. Reed

Age 95, of East Canton, passed away Sunday August 14, 2022 in Hennis Care Centre of Bolivar. She was born November 21, 1926 in Canton to the late Thomas and Hazel (May) Himes. She was a 1944 graduate of Canton Township High School and a member of Canton Grace Brethren Church where she was formerly active with the Helping Hands and 60+ group. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Reed in 2014; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Vivian Himes. Ruth is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sylvia Himes; one sister, Carol Himes; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Thursday August 18, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Joseph Cosentino officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
