Age 84, of Mineral City, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Aultman Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and family following an extended bout with cancer. Rudy was the son of the late Angelo and Evelyn (Ferry) Pirolozzi of Canton. He was a 1946 graduate of McKinley High School. He was formerly employed by Karl Kimberling, The Timken Roller Bearing Company and the Village of Mineral City Street Department. He retired from Hercules Engines in Canton as Superintendent of Inspection Services, April 1991 after 30 years of service. On June 28, 1952, Rudy married the love of his life, the former Rosemary Johns. They were blessed with five children and shared 60 years of marriage. He was a member of The Church of the Holy Trinity in Zoar. Rudy was a Third degree member of Knights of Columbus council 13031, as well as a past member of Starlight Board of SEI. He was both a pack leader for Boy Scouts and a coach for his sons little league baseball teams. He served on Mineral City council for many years. He was a member and past president of North Coast Winnebago Club, member of Emerald Necklace Winnies, Wandering Ohio Winnies, and National WIT Club. He was honored for his perfect pitched game in Fumble ball. Rudy Enjoyed making his fantastic homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs, camping in his motor home and spending time with his family. He enjoyed attending the Mineral City Senior Center where he played euchre with fellow members. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Kathy Pirolozzi of Lake Mohawk, Angelo and Vicki Pirolozzi, Paul and Lori Pirolozzi all of Mineral city, John Pirolozzi of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Daniel Wise of Hartville; grandchildren, Brooke and Philip Marinucci of Lake Mohawk, Captain Rudy Pirolozzi of US Army in Fort Bliss, TX, Gina and Justin Pirolozzi of Mineral City, Danielle, Joshua and Amanda Wise, Angela and Anthony Troyer of Hartville, Chris and Kathy Wise of Canton, Gary Cross of Wilkshire Hills, Jacob Cross of Mineral City; great grandchildren, Rocco, Luca, Paul, Kaityln, Michael, Zachary, Harrison and Whitney; two brothers, Ken (Patti) of Palm Springs, CA, Paul (Fay) of Hot Springs, AR; one sister, Annette Taylor of Canton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna Pirolozzi of Zanesville, Yvonne Crisp and Mary Johnino of Canton, Angeline and John Cinson of Malvern and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Carmen, Charles and Wanda; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Elmer Rohrer; brothers-in-law, Richard Taylor, William Crisp, Jacob and Susan Cernik; nephews, Michael Pirolozzi and Dan Crisp. Those wishing to honor his memory by charitable contribution are encourage to do so to The Church of the Holy Trinity building fund at 1835 Dover-Zoar Rd., NE., Bolivar, OH 44612 or Starlight Enterprises at 638 Commercial Ave., SW., New Philadelphia, OH 44663. A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday February 7, 2013 at 10:00am in The Church of the Holy Trinity with Fr. Ronald J. Aubry, Fr. Ed Keck and Deacon Lyn Houze as celebrants. Interment in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Mineral City. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S.
