Ruby M. Stinchcomb Richards
Age 94, of Canton, passed away Sunday May 26, 2013 in Windsor Medical Center. She was born April 11, 1919 in Paris, OH to the late George and Minnie (Mulheim) Anthony. Ruby was a 1936 graduate of Minerva High School and a Stark County area resident most of her life. She and her husband, Lester were the owners of Coin-way Laundries for 25 years. Ruby was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and a member of the former Maryland Ave Baptist church for 50 years. She was formerly active with the Sears Retirees and the Christian Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Lester R. Stinchcomb in 1988; second husband, Clarence "Les" Richards in 2012; one son, C. Larry Stinchcomb in 2001; Ruby was the last of eight children, two brothers and five sisters preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Robert Williams of Warren, OH, Deborah and Jim Byington of North Canton; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday May 31, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Mike Frasier and Rev. Neal Wheeler officiating. Interment in Liberty Cemetery.
