Rua A. Buchanan, age 82, of Canton died Tuesday, Oct 12, 2004 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Daughter of the late Carl and Ann (Dine)Winkleman, She was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and the Ambassadors Sunday School Class, formerly employed by Bra'Win Manor and Milk Maid Candy. She is also preceded in death by four sisters, Marjorie McWilliams, Doris LeBeau, Betty Bucklew, and Donna Mosteller; three brothers, Robert, Jack and Wesley Winkleman. Survived by her husband, Clyde Buchanan with whom she would have celebrated 59 years of marriage Nov 21, 2004; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Terry Schwinn of Canton; one granddaughter, Tammy Fair of Canto; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Flo and Robert Davidson, Yvonne Hillman-McFee, all of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law William and Emma Winkleman of Louisville, Ralph and Helen Winkleman of North Industry; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many dear friends; and a very special friend, Hallie Umpleby. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave, with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Friday 6-9pm. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses that so lovingly cared for Rua over the past several years.
