Roy "Chuck" Syphers Jr.
Age 58, of Canton died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. Born January 20, 1955 in Marietta, OH. to Roy C. Sr. and Judy A. (Geary) Syphers. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1973 graduate of Canton South High School. Chuck was employed by Stark Industrial Inc. He was a member of North Industry Christian Church and enjoyed riding his Harley Davison. Preceded in death by his father, Roy C. Syphers Sr. and one sister, Cathy L. Syphers. He is survived by his wife, Kathy R. (Boron) Syphers to whom he would have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary on Feb. 25, 2013; two sons, Spenser Syphers, Brook (Arina) Hayes; three daughters, Jenny Syphers (Scott Owens), Sabrina Summers (Theo Papacostas), Catie Hayes; his mother, Judy Syphers; one uncle, Bob (Janice) Geary; one nephew, Jason Brill. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5-8pm. Memorial donations may be made to North Industry Christian Church.
