Rosemary Mullane
Age 84, of Canton, left her beloved home fondly known as Le Cottage and departed on Sunday December 23, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward G. and Hilda (Lippert) Mullane; siblings, Barbara Kennedy, William Eugene Mullane, James “Red” Mullane and Thomas Mullane. She is survived by her brother, George Mullane; special niece, Jeanette Mullane; Goddaughter, Jo-Ann Humphrey and many nieces and nephews from the Mullane family. She served as a board member for Canton City Schools from 1988-1991. She was employed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as a project director. She proudly spear-headed the development of the Sandy Valley Community Park and Pool through local funding and state grants. Rosemary had her moments of fame when she flew to New York for an appearance on the Judge Alex show. Her beautiful smile and clever wit suited her perfectly as a Walmart greeter post her retirement years. Rosemary charmed many with her vibrant personality. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends with many Aunt Rosemary stories. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sandy Valley Community Park and Pool, at 10018 Cleveland Ave SE, Magnolia, OH 44643. A committal service will be Wednesday January 2, 2019 at 1:00pm in Calvary Cemetery, Massillon. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.
