Ronald Glenn Long
Age 76, of Canton died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born November 10, 1938 in New Franklin, Ohio to the late Fred and Alice (Master) Long. He was a Canton resident most of his life. Ron was the owner/operator along with his sons of the former Long's Custom Spraying and Creative Garden Center. Preceded in death by one sister, Peg Mayle Long; one brother, Richard Long. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice (Marty) Long; three sons, Butch Long (Betsy Mullet), Steve Long (Brenda Metz) and Scott Long all of Canton; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Long of Canton. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Aultman Hospice and Compassionate Care Center, especially Joe, Margaret and Jack for all their wonderful care. In keeping with Ron's wishes there will be no public services. Memorial donations may be made to the Aultman Hospice Program.
