Ronald C. Lawver,
Ronald C. Lawver, age 62, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 in his home following an extended illness. Son of the late, Eugene and Margaret (Tondra) Lawver, and a 1960 graduate of Timken High School. A life resident of the Canton and Bolivar areas, retiring from the Timken Co. in 2000 after 36 years of service. Member of Bolivar United Methodist Church and had served as a coach with the Bolivar Baseball Association for ten years. He had also served in the US Army. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jerry Lawver; one daughter, Ronda Gibbs in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Debra A. Lawver, to whom he was married 31 years; five sons and daughters-in-law, Craig Lawver and Christopher Lawver both of California, Daniel and Lisa Lawver of Bolivar, Jeffrey and Melissa Lawver of Pleasant City, NC, Matthew Lawver of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and George Stout of Newcomerstown; six grandchildren, Christine and Luke Lawver, George Jr., Brandon and Danielle Stout and Nicolas Gibbs; One brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Holly Lawver of Bolivar; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dixie and Glenn McCully of Massillon, Judy and Harry Walters of Applecreek, OH, Jinx and Ed Douglas of Cleveland. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 am in the Bolivar United Methodist Church with Rev. Joel Adkins officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Stark County, at 3611-B Whipple Ave NW, Canton, Ohio 44718.
