Ronald A. Katt
Age 80, of Canton, passed away Monday June 13, 2016 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1935 in Cleveland, OH to the late Clarence M. and Ardath R. (Behner) Katt. Ronald was a Canton area resident since 1968 and had served in the National Guard. He retired from Harrison Paint in 1999 after 30 years of service. Ronald was a very fun loving man who enjoyed the Cleveland Indians, all sporting events, gardening, fishing and time spent with his family. Ronald was a devoted husband and very loving father. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother. He is survived by his wife, Anna L. (Chandler) to whom he was married 58 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Bill McGill of Minerva; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. In keeping with Ronald’s wishes cremation has taken place, a celebration of Ronald’s life will be conducted at a later time in his daughter’s home.
