Rollin F. Irwin, age 88, of Canton died Sunday, June 25, 2006 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Venango County, Pa. on December 9, 1917 to the late Austin H. and Katharine (Adams) Irwin. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and a WWII Army Veteran. Retired owner/operator of Tasti-Creme in Perry Twp. from 1955-1975. Life member of the American Legion in Brewster. Rollin was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time hunting. Preceded in death by his wife, Lena M. Irwin in 1999; one brother and five sisters. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Paul Wright of Massillon; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Jeannie Irwin of Carrollton, Terry and Christine Irwin of Bolivar; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Tom Williams officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
