Rolland E. "Duke" Westover, age 78,
of Canton, died Thursday evening in Altercare of Nobles Pond. Born in Canton, OH., on September 21,
1926, to the late Clyde E. and Catherine S.(Harris) Westover. He was a life resident of the Canton area and an Army World War II Veteran. Retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1987 with 35 years of service. Member of First Christian Church, Buckeye Country Music Association, Eagles Lodge
#2370 and enjoyed restoring cars. Preceded in death by his first wife, Arline Westover in 1986; two brothers, Robert and Richard
Westover; one sister, Ruth Inman.
Survived by his wife, Janice J.
(Hahn); two daughters and son-in-law, Carol and Dale Jones, Beverly Schisler all of Canton; two sons and daughter-in-law, Allen and Jamie Weastover, David Westover all
of Canton;two stepsons and spouses,
Donald and Penny Dilling of Canton,
Wayne and Dona Dilling of Marietta, GA.; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Rae
Evelyn Cugini of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet, "Heidi". Funeral services will be Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends
may call Sunday 5 - 7 p.m. and one hour before the service on Monday
