Roger Lewis “Zeke” Wyatt
Age 76, of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday August 12, 2015. He was born December 4, 1938 in Canton to the late Ralph L. and Helen (Welch) Wyatt. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Wyatt; mother and step-father, Helen and Kennith Betz; one son, Ralph A. Wyatt who resided in Marietta, SC. Roger retired from Quaker State Oil Company in 1994, and was owner/operator and president of Wyatt Trucking. He was known as “Junk Yard Dog” on the CB radio. He enjoyed time spent with his friends at Carroll County Airport and was a race fan. Roger was a 1957 graduate of Canton South High School. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn (Kepler) Wyatt to whom he was married January 16, 1960 and celebrated 55 years of marriage; one daughter, JoAnn (Robert) Champer of Carrollton; one son, Roger L. Wyatt of Bolivar; two grandsons, Corey and Austin Penick both of Bolivar; one granddaughter, Jesica (James) Oliver of New Harrisburg; four great-grandchildren, Haylee, Traveller, Brick and Karlee Jo Oliver. Funeral services will be Monday August 17, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery.
