Rogell E. “Gene” John II
Age 71, of North Canton, passed away Monday June 12, 2017. He was born August 25, 1945 in Canton to the late Rogell E. and Helen (Linerode) John. Gene was a graduate of East Canton High School and Bowling Green State University. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Gene was the former owner/operator of Seventh Generation Ventures, LLC. He was an active member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, the Osnaburg Historical Society, various other organizations and a proud member of Weight Watchers. He is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta R. “Bobbi” John to whom he was married 16 years; one brother, Timothy L. John Sr.; one nephew, Jeff John. Gene is survived by two children, Stacey John and Jason John; two step-children, Todd Pincombe (Kelly Hastings) and Brant Pincombe; two granddaughters, Chassalli and Brooke; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, Violet, Rhonda and Eloise Pincombe; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday June 22, 2017 from 4-8pm in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. There are no other public services.
