Roberta Ann McAllister

Roberta A. McAllister, age 93, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away on July 30, 2023.

Roberta was born in Canton, Ohio, June 27, 1930 to the late Harry and Wilma (Johnson) McAllister.

She was a graduate of the 1948 class of Canton South High School.

In 1958, she enlisted in the United States Army Corps where she was stationed in Texas, California, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Kentucky in addition to foreign countries of Germany, Okinawa, and Korea.  Roberta served her country for 20 years and was awarded several medals for good conduct, Armed Forces Expeditionary, and National Defense Service.

Roberta is survived by her brother Harry (Jackie) McAllister; sister Mary Lou (Jim) Loutzenhiser; four nieces, one nephew, three great nieces and one great nephew.

There will be a military graveside service at Melscheimer Cemetery, Thursday August 10,2023 at 11 am.
