Roberta R. “Bobbi” John
Age 64, of North Canton, passed away Monday June 12, 2017. She was born August 29, 1952 in Canton to the late Lester C. and Eileen J. (Brant) Kendig. Bobbi was a graduate of North Canton Hoover High School, Ohio University and Akron University. She was the retired Director of Special Services for Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools. She was an active member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Osnaburg Historical Society, various other organizations and was a proud member of Weight Watchers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rogell E. “Gene” John II to whom she was married 16 years; one cousin, Dawn. She is survived by two sons, Todd Pincombe (Kelly Hastings) and Brant Pincombe; two step-children, Stacey John and Jason John; three grandchildren, Violet, Rhonda and Eloise Pincombe; two step-grandchildren, Chassalli and Brooke; two step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Elsass, Nancy (John) McKinney and Amy Studer; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday June 22, 2017 from 4-8pm in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. There are no other public services.
