Robert J. Tolin Jr.
Age 62, of Canton died Monday, March 31, 2014 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born October 16, 1951 in Canton, Ohio to Robert J. and Beverly (Klotz) Tolin. He was a life resident of Canton and retired from the Canton Repository after 38 years of service. Robert was an avid outdoorsman. Preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Tolin. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pamela S. (Smith) Tolin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Tiffany Shanower of Canton South, Derek and Vanessa Shanower of Canton South, Cory and Amanda Tolin of Louisville; three grandchildren; his mother, Beverly Tolin of Canton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Canice Tolin of Canton, Thomas and Judy Tolin of Canton, Jeffery and Teresa Tolin of Perry Township; one sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Tom Dowd of Massillon; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Fr. Robert Kaylor officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm.
