Robert S. Morrison Jr
Age 67, of Canton died Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Aultman Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.Born July 29, 1948 in Canton, OH. to the late Robert S. and Alice Jeanette (Drummond) Morrison. He was a life resident of the Canton South area. He retired from the Canton Repository in 2006. Robert was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple and former member of Caldwell Lodge #330, Bolivar. Robert loved his family, his Harley’s and his feline companion, “Toby”. Preceded in death by a brother, Mark Morrison; an uncle who was more like a brother, Duane Morrison. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruth (Coffey) Morrison; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Ken Richards; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and “Sis” Morrison; two grandchildren, Justin Kidd and Anastasia Morrison. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. James Schmotzer and staff for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Rev Delaney Young officiating. Burial in Pine Log Cemetery in North Carolina. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.
