Robert E. Reynolds
Robert E. Reynolds, age 89, of Canton, died Sunday July 24, 2005 in Manor Care following a brief illness. Son of the late James W. and Ona Bell (Hunter) Reynolds. He retired from Merit Packaging (formerly Climalene) after 37 years of service. Member of Asbury United Methodist Church, DAV, AARP, Fairmont Children's Home Alumnus, National, State and Pomona Grange. He was a 71 year member of Bethlehem and Pike Granges and delivered Meals on Wheels. A WWII Army veteran. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Gail Reynolds in 1989; foster parents, William and Edna Roth; three brothers, John, Clarence and Jim Reynolds; two sisters, Marie Turvey and Mary Foden. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Charlotte (Clapper) Reynolds of Magnolia; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Richard Mayer of Canton; one grandson and his wife, Allen and Angie Reynolds of Canton; two great granddaughters, Amelia Gail and Alivia Jean Reynolds. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Daniel Wilson officiating. Interment in East Sparta Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm with grange services at 5:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church at 7344 Ridge Ave SE, East Sparta, OH 44626.
