Robert D. Oliver
Age 36, of Alliance passed away unexpectedly Saturday June 16, 2012 in Alliance Community Hospital. He was born June 12, 1976 in Canton to Timothy L. and Lois (Moore) Oliver Sr. Robert was an Alliance resident for the past three years prior to which he had resided in Canton. He was a 1994 graduate of Canton South High School and was employed by Kell's Painting and Decorating for 15 years. He was a member of the American Legion in Alliance and active with the Marlington Little Duke's Youth Football program. He is survived by his fiancé, Sherry Uplinger of Alliance; two sons, Clayton Oliver of Malvern and Austin Oliver of Alliance; his parents, Timothy and Lois Oliver Sr; one brother, Timothy Oliver Jr; one sister, Debra Oliver all of Canton; father-in-law, Jerry and Diane Uplinger of Canton; mother-in-law, Shelley and Jack Burress of Alliance; brother-in-law, Jeff Uplinger of Louisville; sister-in-law, Lori Mohr and Will Green of Alliance; two nephews, Christopher O'Donnell and Brandon Uplinger; two nieces, Jennifer and Alyssa Uplinger; special friend, Kathy Wells of Canton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Robert's last act of kindness was his gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Funeral services will be Thursday June 21, 2012 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
