Robert W. Knight
Age 68, of Canton, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017. He was born March 24, 1949 in Canton to the late Warren “Pete” and Alberta L. (Choffin) Knight. Robert was a 1967 graduate of Canton South High School and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was formerly employed by Republic Steel and was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local #6. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Sue and Debra K. Knight. Robert is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Melissa Knight, Lisa and Robert Dettweiler; two grandchildren, Madison Knight and Alexander Sherman; two brothers, Rick and Terry Knight, Gary Knight; three sisters, Cindy and Bob Christen, Cheryl and Terry Hackathorn, Diane Knight; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 2:30pm in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
