Robert King
Robert King, age 81, of Canton, died Monday, January 10, 2005 in Mercy Medical Center. Son of the late Robert and Cora (Strange) King, he was a Canton area resident since 1943, retiring from Hercules Engines after ten years of service, A World War II Navy veteran. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Lincoln King. Survived by his wife, Catherine M. (Gephrey) to whom he was married 60 years; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lenore and Cliff Baum of Louisville, Karen and Robert Addington of Bolivar, Eileen and John Case of Hartville, Roberta and Dean Barrett of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Kay king of Massillon; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Judy King of Navarre; one sister, Alene Kelly of Canton. Funeral services will be Thursday at 7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Pastor Harold Strange officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to service, 5-7pm.
